The Crowder College Global Education Story

Adobe Acrobat Reader required.

Crowder College is located in Neosho, Missouri (population 9,500). Their journey toward global education began ten years ago during a board meeting. Crowder's president, Dr. Kent Farnsworth, raised four questions relative to the school's mission:
  1. What does the mission statement indicate we should be doing as a college?
  2. Are those responsibilities still appropriate to how we see our current mission?
  3. If so, are we fulfilling those responsibilities to the best of our abilities?
  4. And if not, what do we need to do about it?
The Crowder story explains the process that the school administration and faculty followed in developing and implementing their global education program.
